Wesley Weigel
Occupation: First and best job I ever had was timber falling, but we all know where that went. I then started an apprenticeship and became a journeyman sheet metal worker. Good job, but had to give it up after two bouts with carpel tunnel syndrome. I worked for Platt Electric Supply in Albany for 20-1/2 years. Retired Jan 15, 2021
Interests: I have always liked to hunt and fish but don't do too much anymore.
Hobbies: I like to mess around making CD's and DVD's for family and friends. My music interests are in 50's and 60's and older Country Music. Next to my family, my most prized possession is my autographed picture of Johnny Cash that I took. (It is more special since he is wearing a white shirt). I also have an autographed picture of his daughter Roseann Cash.
Family: Carolyn (Gabel) and I were married Nov. 29th 1969 and yes we are still together. Our daughter, Christy who was born a week before our 10th class reunion had a daughter Aug. 19th 2007, (our first grandchild). Christy graduated from Marylhurst College with a MBA degree in June 2008, and works for Mt. Hood CC. Our son, Scott works for Samaritan call center. He has two boys.

Comments: I must admit that I did enjoy high school years. I have enjoyed the class reunions, and I hope that everyone will try to come to all of them in the future, even if you don't think you fit in or had many friends, it is nice to see the ones you have and make new ones. Hope to see everyone there.
